With Florida banning the use of state and federal funds on DEI programs at state universities, and numerous US states passing legislation banning specific books, it's clear that a comprehensive knowledge of history is tough for American students to glean.
Drawing attention to, and hoping to act upon, the issue is AMERICA ERASE; a project from Wieden+Kennedy New York with Glenn Singleton and the team at Courageous Conversations that shines a spotlight on rapidly disappearing figures of social change.
Led by a powerful film from Riff Raff's Omar Jones, the activation also incorporates a website, and social posters that bring the message to stark life.
