Holy mackerel! In this bonkers film created by Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg students, with Hanna Seidel at the helm, a poor fella finds he’s a fish out of water at the office when a foul-mouthed aquatic entity attaches itself to his head and insults his colleagues.

Even worse the cod-awful freeloader sings opera all night and proceeds to have a loud orgasm on spotting pretty aquarium fish at a restaurant. All because his host was after some shampoo that purported to add a bit of shine.

If you’re wondering what the film, A Fished Up Life, is carping on about, it promotes the app’s ability to scan barcodes on food and cosmetic products to reveal hidden ingredients. It shows, for example, whether microplastics are included, whether palm oil has been used and whether the products could be harmful to health or the environment.

Last year, Seidel launched a successful #stopupskirting campaign in Germany and is interesting in exploring advertising content with social purpose.
