Unleashed during the finale of RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 15 finale, this is an all-out assault on the senses promoting Burger King’s sponsorship of the MTV series.
Helmed by Ezra Hurwitz through Riverside Entertainment / Productions [Hurwitz is repped by Bold in the UK], the film features a whole heap of sparkles, plus Jack Mizrahi as MC, Paris is Burning star and ‘Father of Ballroom’ Junior Labeija as head judge.
The zingy original music is by DJ Mike Q and Drag Race alum Olivia Lux from the House of Miyake-Mugler puts in an appearance with a supporting cast of performers from the New York vogue scene.
Hurwitz commented: “I’m super proud of this one, as it really honours my LGBTQIA community and specifically the Ballroom scene. Amidst drag bans (Tennessee Senate Bill 3 for example) and constant threats to my LGBTQIA family, it was incredible celebrating our community with this film.”
