When collage goes to college

Created by Creature of London and directed by KACIKE through DogEatDog, this spot for Edinburgh Napier University fuses anarchic animation with nostalgic analogue photography and low-fi video to create a zingy collage-rich mash-up. 

Spotlighting the diverse range of talents nurtured by the university, the film embraces high-end techniques and AI tools, alongside raw footage shot on Napier’s campus and around the city itself to appeal to potential Gen Z students.

Megan Egan, Senior Creative at Creature commented: “DOGEATDOG understood our vision from the get-go and the brilliant minds of Kacike helped the idea run free, in all its gritty glory. Their brains are an expansive library full of references, lighting setups and camera moves. It was an incredibly ambitious and daunting shoot from the offset, and quite frankly I’m amazed we pulled it off, let alone in such a laid back fashion."
