Drone photography has seen daring cinematographers and pilots throw cameras into some hair-raising situations, but few manage the kind of impressive technical control and footage synchronicity showcased in this rip-roaring film from Stoked.
Set between two opposing locations - an existing Porsche Experience track in Levi within the arctic circle, Lapland Finland and a replica built in the dunes of the Liwa desert - Drive2Extremes sees a precision driver (Jukka Honkavuori) scoot a Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo around the courses whilst an incredible drone pilot (Johnny Schaer aka Johnny fpv) captures it with a flowing style.
The result is a rollercoaster ride that uses real-life locations and lighting in lieu of CGI, capturing extraordinary images that impress with their technical skill and artistic imagination.
