A playful reinterpretation of the traditional Christmas ballet The Nutcracker comes to life in this whimsical seasonal spot, created by The Martin Agency for savoury biscuit brand RITZ.
Directed by Camila Zapiola through Stink Studios, RITZ Presents the RITZCracker sees the ballet’s foes, The Nutcracker and The Mouse King, duelling in a living room whilst a little girl watches. She calls 'timeout' and unites the enemies with an offering of crackers, with suitable toppings for both characters.
Drawing from the traditional story’s warm and timeless appeal, the spot highlights the importance of togetherness at Christmas time, and is a representation of the brand’s mission to make the world a more welcoming place through small gestures.
