Award-winning production company Kode announces the addition of esteemed director Sye Allen for commercial representation in the UK.
With a prolific career and a unique artistic approach rooted in comedy, Allen's collaboration with Kode looks to be a promising move for both the Director and Production Studio.
Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of Somerset, Allen’s upbringing on British comedy and horror novels has infused his creative spirit. His directorial debut, Beasts, earned prestigious recognition, securing Gold at the Queen Palm Festival and the International Human Rights Film Festival. Subsequently, The Empty Chair, earned him a Cannes YDA nomination and a Kinsale Shark, underscoring his innate talent and storytelling finesse.
Allen's directorial style is characterised by meticulous craftsmanship, swift and compelling narratives, and impeccable comedic performances. His portfolio boasts an impressive array of campaigns for beloved British and global brands, including Just Eat, Virgin Active, Vanish, Imperial Leather, and WestJet. His upcoming film, Light Hearted, a heartwarming tale of an elderly lady and her holographic husband, is poised for release, while campaigns for Vinted and Bold are in the final stages of post-production.
Allen’s addition to the Kode family marks an exciting chapter in the studio's journey, promising even more groundbreaking and boundary-pushing content.
