UnderWonder has signed Nina McNeely to their roster of talent. Known for her visceral and electric style, McNeely has choreographed and directed some of the most significant pieces in pop culture today, marking her as a prominent force within our culture at large.

The multi-talented artist is revered for her work as a director, choreographer, animator, and visual artist, frequently combining mediums to create daring and opulent imagery. McNeely directed and choreographed Doja Cat’s music video for Paint the Town Red, lending the song her trademark rowdy and alluring style. She worked as the choreographer for HBO’s The Idol, starring The Weeknd and Lily-Rose Depp, where she also served as on-screen talent, playing the choreographer within the show itself. Her TED Talk Once There Was III is a symphony of live-projection mapping set on three dancers to create a unique surrealist landscape.

McNeely's point of view lenses the connection and chemistry between people as an immeasurable force containing infinite energetic potential. Her deep understanding of choreography works to her advantage as a director; her elegant camera work is able to zero in on and capture moments of storytelling within dance and movement-focused film. Throughout her career, Nina has worked with Björk, Gaspar Noé, The Weeknd, Rihanna, Foo Fighters, Sam Smith, Alicia Keyes, Pharell, Sam Smith, Nick Jonas, and Miguel, among many others, creating some of these artist’s most memorable work on film.

McNeely joins UnderWonder’s esteemed roster of the top directors in the industry creating award-winning commercials and music videos. UnderWonder is nominated in four categories at this year’s MTV VMAs, including Tanu Muiño for Best Director and Video of the Year for her Doja Cat Attention video. This marks the third year in a row she’s been nominated for both categories.
