With its catchy original soundtrack, visually striking dance sequences and moving performances from India's leading actors, this time-traveling musical extravaganza is a wonder to behold. But wait, there’s more! It’s also filmed entirely on a phone.

With direction from Vishal Bhardwaj, global tech brand Apple celebrates the prominence of India's film industry with the country’s first musical film, titled Fursat, which was caught end-to-end on an iPhone 14.

Set aboard trains and in ancient cities, the film traverses past, present and future, following the love story of Nishant, a young man with an obsession for a magical relic that can see the future, and Diya, an intelligent, quick-thinking doctor.

The 30-minute film is accompanied by a behind-the-scenes short showcasing how the compact nature of the device, paired with the robust features of its Action mode, made it easy for Bhardwaj to capture the world's first musical shot on an iPhone.
