Karen Cunningham directs this new spot for Barbie through Slim Pictures which, on International Day of the Girl, addresses 'the gap that comes between girls and their full potential'. 

The spot, created by BBDO San Francisco, highlights facts such as how parents are twice as likely to Google 'is my son gifted?' than 'is my daughter gifted?'. The campaign continues the sterling work the agency and its client are doing to promote equality for young girls, such as 2015's Imagine the Possibilities, also directed by Cunningham, who's repped by Thomas Thomas Films in the UK.
