It's not often that we get to crouch down low and spend time with the beautiful bugs that share our planet.
Glassworks' in-house director Carlos Cortés has done precisely this in his spellbinding short, named after the Khepri scarab beetle and Egyptian god of creation.
Inspired by Egyptian mythology, Cortés focuses on the movement and transformation of the insects, highlighting their neon tones and playful resilience as they seem capable of exploring dream-like worlds, morphing mesmerisingly as they bring new life into the world.
