From a lighthouse and a converted school bus to your own private island, property rental site Airbnb boasts some serious wacky places to stay. But one of the most out-there properties on its books has to be the luxurious but remote Rondolino Residence, an 80-acre property located in Nevada's Death Valley, reachable only via a set of GPS co-ordinates.

If that's somewhere you'd fancy checking in, now's your chance, as Audi and Airbnb have teamed up to offer seven guest stays in October, complete with the use of an fully fuelled Audi R8 Coupe, a luxury chauffeur from Las Vegas McCarran International Airport, all meals (prepped by a personal chef, natch) and evening entertainment. It's all part of the auto brand's campaign to mark its sponsorship of the 2016 Emmy Awards, set to take place this weekend.

San Francisco boutique Venables Bell & Partners are behind the launch campaign, which kicks off with a stylish spot, Desolation [top]. Directed by MJZ's Craig Gillespie the film is an ode to Nevada's stunningly stark landscape, in which a mundane run to the grocery store for coffee becomes a great excuse to put the motor through its paces. If it doesn't whet your appetite for desert living, nothing will.

From 18-24 September, Airbnb will be taking bookings for seven guest stays in October, with a new set of dates released for booking each day at 6pm PDT. For more information, visit the Airbnb listing
