The Argentine film-maker playfully crafts uplifting, dream-like visual narratives woven with Magic Realism. His stories unfold organically juxtaposing the extraordinary with the commonplace, creating a distinct sense of heightened, augmented reality. With each new film he delves deeper into the fabric of reality, challenging audiences to look deeper at the wonder that is our world.
Having shot all around the world Livschitz has won a Young Directors Award at Cannes Lions, and has worked for brands such as Honda, Toyota, Microsoft, McDonald’s, Mondelez, Renault, Nissan, Coca Cola and he created the opening credits for CBS's The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
In his own words: “I’m film director, creative and visual artist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. With a unique sense of style and approach I show my perspective of the world. I try to put a smile on people's faces. I believe it's always possible to show the life and ideas in an alternative way”
Livschitz’s projects have a habit of rapidly going viral and have been seen by more than 100 million people. His work spans the wide ark from film to photography; from branded content to music videos; and from visual arts to digital content. He is the frequent recipient of the Vimeo Staff Pick award and he can’t wait to get his teeth stuck into some London briefs.
