On 11 April 2024, the Porsche Awards will be presented for the 20th and final time at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg., Germany.

The independent international jury of experts has now viewed all 148 entries from 21 countries, including films from India, Vietnam, Afghanistan, Canada, Australia, Peru, the Philippines and the USA. From all submissions, the jury selected twelve advertising films as nominees anonymously, i.e. without specifying their origin. Six FABW productions made it into the final selection. Other nominated films come from Brazil, Serbia, Great Britain and the Netherlands.

With Filmakademie as organiser and Porsche AG as main sponsor are once again looking forward to welcoming the film teams, the jury and numerous industry guests to the award ceremony in Ludwigsburg. The evening will be hosted by well-known journalist and presenter Kimsy von Reischach.

The nominations are divided into three award categories:

Five films were selected for the Short Advertising Content category. Their themes revolve around the pitfalls of dating and communication in our modern world, sustainable travelling, young people's dreams of escaping precarious circumstances or a contemporary appreciation of motherhood.

In the Long Advertising Content category, FABW can already plan on receiving an award, as all nominations come from Ludwigsburg. The selected films are about museum attendants who become part of the works of art exhibited there, about the stories behind three iconic photographs, and about an amphibious version of Count Dracula.

The third category, Driven by Dreams, is more serious. The nominated films deal with the discrimination and disadvantage of girls in Nepal, the risk of party drugs, the loneliness and excessive demands on children and the school massacre in Serbia last year.
