Production company Odelay Films welcome American Director Kristyna Archer to their developing roster.

The award-winning and quirky director is renowned for creating thought-provoking and visually compelling work. Her films often explore the surreal and the absurd, and are set within her vibrant stylised worlds.

Archer’s films showcase her distinct aesthetic and are instantly recognisable. Her keen eye for design and abundant playfulness mean Archer’s commercials, brand films, stop-motion, and photography work all reflect her curious imagination, sense of irony and quirkiness. That coupled with her fun loving and whimsical personality make her the perfect addition to the Odelay family.

This shall be the first time that Archer has been represented outside of the USA.  So it’s both an exciting time for Odelay Films, and even more so for Archer as they share her films with the UK and European markets.

Archer reflects on her joining:  “Life is too short to not find your tribe, pursue like-minds, and connect with collaborators.  Finding the right team aligned with my sensibilities and values to grow as a filmmaker and make the best work possible is the ultimate goal. Odelay is that right partner for me to launch and blossom in a new market that has always spoken to me.  I am amongst an incredible roster of talent with great work, and Prudence is also leading the industry with big shifts towards sustainable zero-waste solutions which is very important to me and top of mind.  Excited for the journey, and what lies ahead with Odelay !”

Of her arrival Managing Director Prudence Beecroft says:  "We are thrilled to welcome Kristyna Archer to the Odelay roster. Her work instantly spoke to us - it's eye-catching, colourful and distinctive, and yet underpinning this strong visual aesthetic is often an important thought provoking message told through irony or humour. She is able to create a full brand world crafting a distinct identity for a campaign and can capture this with both stills and moving image. We are looking forward to finding her the right creative ideas to bring to life in a full-throttle-Kristyna Archer way!"
