A Story Takes Flight was shot with a crew from over thirty nationalities, evoking the spirit of a city born from multiculturalism. Following Morano’s immersive, natural, and cinematic style, the film aims to capture the essence of each actress and the unknown of the city. An exploration of the city that sees Paltrow follow her passion for photography leading her to make new friends in Dubai. Hudson is on a journey of finding art and music in the old town of Dubai. And from the desert to the city, Saldana moves from the desert adventures in to the city.

“By creating a film about discovery it allowed us to venture into, and show a very different side to Dubai. Through the collaboration with Gwyneth, Kate and Zoe, the Dubai’s Corporation of Tourism and Commerce Marketing put Dubai right into the heart of popular culture,” said Oliver Woodley, SVP and commercial director MEA at VIRTUE. “By leveraging the power of these superstars, DCTCM is able to tell a positive story, inspire consideration and show the city in it's best vibrant light.”
