Stories can now be told in so many ways and FLIPT has now launched FLIPT/side, a place for moving image makers that work across different platforms.

FLIPT are delighted that Kate Dawkins Studio is the first artist to join FLIPT/side. A double BAFTA award winning studio that tells epic stories on unique canvases, from large scale LED and projection environments to responsive activations for brands. Dawkins was responsible for the content for the giant 360 “Audience pixels” for the London Olympic Ceremonies and has worked on activations with Adidas, Jaguar Land Rover, Elton John, Talisker and the MTV Music awards.

Cultural and heritage projects showcase the craft and design that is at the heart of everything Kate Dawkins Studio does. The Festival of Remembrance piece at The Royal Albert Hall won KDS a BAFTA as did World War one Remembered: Passchendaele at Ypres where stunning imagery was projection mapped onto the formidable Cloth Hall a building standing at 125 metres wide and 70 metres tall.

Trent Simpson co-founder of FLIPT: “It is a privilege to have Kate Dawkins Studio come on board at FLIPT. Kate Dawkins Studio excels at innovative storytelling whether it be the use of projections to transform buildings into huge canvases or creating spectacular content for brands.  I am thrilled that their unique voice is now something we can shout about.”
