Curly Films continue to expand their directorial roster and are proud to welcome Jack Pirie.

Pirie joins as a writer, director and creative director in both film, TV, theatre and immersive entertainment. He is driven by a boundless curiosity and a love for emotive storytelling as reflected in his most recent work. 

Pirie’s film work includes Bite for Channel4, The Superman for National Geographic and most recently the short film The Storm Chaser which has received much critical acclaim and is currently receiving high praise in film festivals worldwide. He has also directed music videos for Sony and Atlantic Records.

More recently Pirie directed War of the World’s Immersive Experience in London, a multi-million-pound entertainment experience receiving an international THEA award for Outstanding Achievement, a Gold London Design Award and two TripAdvisor Travellers Choice awards. The show is currently running in London.

He is developing a number of original TV shows and features including the detective noir series Take Me Back with Redrum films, Producers Chris Clarke & Nick Love and Heist-thriller Pen with Derek Wax and Wild Mercury. 

About joining Curly Films, Pirie says “I'm excited to dig in with Curly and hopefully create some epic and resonant stories together, continuing to blur the boundaries across genres and formats."
