Station Film has made two major signings to its directorial roster.  The first is the signing of Borderline Films, which is the partnership of Antonio Campos, Sean Durkin and Josh Mond, three NYU graduates who've forged a career both working independently and as a directing collective producing and directing commercial, music video and feature film work.

Their most recent success is the highly-touted dramatic feature "Martha Marcy May Marlene," which has been already generating major Oscar buzz after it premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Written and directed by Durkin (and produced by Campos and Mond), the film collected the Dramatic Feature Directing Award.

Also joining the Station Film roster is the directing team of Dom & Nic, which joins for US representation.  Their work includes TV spots for such clients as American Express, Audi, Barclays, Coca Cola, Chrysler, Heineken, Ikea, Porsche, Nike, Levis and Mercedes Benz, as well as music videos for such artists as David Bowie, Supergrass, Robbie Williams and The Chemical Brothers.

Each member of Borderline crew has also directed for clients including Foot Locker, Citibank, Bloomingdales, mtvU and eBay. Mond has directed and produced music videos for Island Def Jam, Atlantic Records and Sony Records. His work on Mayday Parade's "Kids in Love"  was featured at the 2011 SXSW Film Festival and tagged by MTV as one of the top videos of the year.

"There's a very unique sensibility to Borderline Films," explains Station managing partner Stephen Orent. "They have so much to offer the advertising world. Their work is so distinctive, so unique and I see good things ahead for them."

Other Borderline Films work of note includes the feature "Afterschool,"written and directed by Campos and produced by Durkin and Mond.  It premiered at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival, and has been screened at the New York Film Festival, the Berlin Film Festival, the London Film Festival and at the AFI.

Campos was also named one of the top 10 directors to watch by Variety in 2009. He is currently in post on his second feature, "Simon Killer." Mond has also shot films receiving commendations at various Cannes Film Festivals, and is a recent recipient of the 2011 Annenberg Film Fellow grant from the Sundance producers' lab.

"Borderline Films creates very honest, naturalistic work," adds Station Partner/Executive Producer Michael Di Girolamo "Their work feels contemporary and relevant, and is filled with images created with astonishing truth and sincerity."

The duo known as Dom & Nic - a.k.a. Nick Goffey and Dominic Hawley – hail from the UK but have enjoyed success stateside in the past working on both videos and TV spots.  They won an MTV Music Video Awards Best Video distinction for "Believe" for The Chemical Brothers, and won a Gold Lion at Cannes on their first US commercial for Nike through Wieden+Kennedy, Portland.

"Dom & Nic are masters across genres," says Orent. "They successfully brand with comedy, narrative and effects-driven work. I'm looking forward to developing their showman talent here on American soil."

John Madsen, who remains Dom & Nic's longtime executive producer, notes the positives of focusing on the American market.  "With so much amazing work coming out of America using European directors, it's surely a good time to join Station," he says. "We realize the interest is there on the agency side, plus we have a proven track record on US soil. What's great about Station is they understand our work ethic and what we're all about as a creative team."

Dom & Nic continue to be represented by Outsider in the UK.
