DeLaurentis is an independent French electronic artist with whom AB/CD/CD had already worked with. They directed her previous music video called A Big Part Of A Big Sun produced by La Pac.
AB/CD/CD and DeLaurentis share their love for the robotic. The machine and the place of the human body is a central issue in the work of the director duo who had already explored it with the short film Server Room.
Seeing her machines as extensions of her vocal cords, DeLaurentis has an almost transhumanist relationship with them; Unica is the physical representation of this. Through her art, her music and new technologies, she highlights the emotional and fusional links that exist between creators of electronic music and their machines.

AB/CD/CD shot the music video Unica's Cloud in live action with only one drone customized and designed by our drone pilot Robin Colin. We duplicated about fifty drones in 3D with the post production company Firm Studio.
It was a long process to work the right dynamic that we wanted to give to the drone. We wanted it to be half animal like a bee, half robot. We had the chance to collaborate with the dancer and choreographer Kevin Bago, who was recently seen in the Burberry commercial by Megaforce to direct Helena Olmedo Duynslaeger's movements.
It’s the Sorcerer apprentice 2021, a world where Manga culture, transhumanism and dance get together.
