Jan Kalvoda and Premek Ponahly, better known as Wolfberg, have joined the roll of directors for LA studio Golden.

The studio is not the Prague-based duo's first experience with gold. The duo, respectively a director/copywriter and former art director, won a Golden Drum from the Ljubljana festival of the same name for their Dark spot for Budweiser.

A montage of evocative moments, the visuals represent in abstract terms what the ad calls 'a beer that fits [a] dark mood'. It also combines animation and live action - a stylistic trope that has become a trademark, with this mark felt in ads for brands including Google, McDonald’s and Nescafé.
