You’ll think all your Christmasses have come at once with this joyous eight-minute Broadway-style spectacle that updates Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker with John Legend as a ratty, rapping Rat King, his real-life wife Chrissy Teigen as a cracking Nutcracker, Isabella Russo of School of Rock fame as Clara and even Darth Vader making a cameo as a warm-hearted party funster.

Sumptuous sets, an engaging story, and a superb script, including such lines as “why oh why must my wifi die?” and a comedy rap contest containing the immortal “you think you’re scary; well I ain’t wary; ya bout as frightenin’ as a sugar plum fairy”.

It premiered in the States during ABC's premier of Frozen and is a highly camp piece of high art that’ll cheer even the scroogiest of Christmas scrooges.
