powered byIntroduced in 1939, the View-Master has been a staple part of pretty every kid's childhood for generations.
The special-format stereoscope utilises view-Master reels, thin cardboard disks containing seven stereoscopic 3D pairs of small colour photographs on film. The reels were so popular they had tie-ins with films including E.T., The Flying Nun and Jurassic Park, Even the US military used them for ship and plane identification.

With the recent advent of Virtual Reality the classic toy has been given a resurgence thanks to Google and Google's Cardboard VR Technology. Users simply download the app from Google's Play Store, then place the phone in the cardboard VR headset.
The new product offers kids of all ages the chance to explore and learn about famous places, landmarks, nature, planets and more in 360 degree ‘photospheres', while not breaking the bank like other products on the market.
