A Picture-Perfect Iconic Event

Over too many years to remember London's Advertising Producers Assocation and shots has combined forces to create a series of photographic spreads to promote the APA Collection, the annual showcase of work which highlights the best UK commercials from the past year. 

To celebrate this fact we decided that what we needed was some sort of exhibition and, of course, accompanying party. It's January, we thought, the worst month of the year, let's do something. So we did, and along with the couldn't-have-done-it-without-them help of The Mill London, last night (Thursday 22 January) a whole host of London's ad people turned up to eat, drink, look at some stunning photos, and be merry.

The images, all taken by regular shots/APA collaborator Julian Hanford [pictured above], stretched from 2011's Collection spread, the 10th anniversary director special, through to last year's record sleeve themed set of photos.
