Red Stripe’s latest marketing installation has been called clever, crazy and even referred to as, “some kind of ghetto theme park,” by one Dalston local. London ad agency, KK Outlet, recently brought Jamaican feel-good sensibility to a Kingsland Road corner shop in what can only be described as a reggae poltergeist.

Noodle pots, boxes, brooms, and bottles re-created Dandy Livingstone’s familiar Jamaican tune, A Message to You Rudy, for anyone looking to make with a Red Stripe.

Stinkdigital director Greg Brunkalla and Hirsch&Mann assisted in getting the bottles to sing, boxes to stomp, and noodles to rattle in harmony after a cold lager is grabbed from the shop's fridge.

Spreading the love to the world, cameras were placed inside unsuspecting biscuit wrappers and the like to capture every musical moment. After everything was set and the shop open for business, the most intriguing bit for the team was seeing how people would react to the surprise reggae accompaniment.

Like the beer itself, where fun comes from enjoying the beverage, there is an inherent pleasure from interacting with the Red Stripe brand. Its one love encapsulates great beer, music, art, and a passion for creation with its Jamaican routes.

All of Red Stripe's projects involve sharing the love with the world through collaboration or participation and the process of making something from nothing. These fun-loving, grassroots fundamentals create a powerfully unifying brand identity for its many creative executions; the 'Make Something From Nothing' beer can sound sculpture and 'Make Art on the Street' collaborative being prime exles. KK Outlet follows suit, in line with the stance.

While the Red Stripe brand focuses on a community of lager lovers, its caigns have consequently cultivated greater cooperation and creation in the advertising world. Hooray beer! Enjoy Brunkalla's film and making of (below).
