The Royal Navy has kicked off 2015 with a large recruitment push focussing on four stories of life on the high seas as a Royal Navy rating. Created by WCRS the four adverts look at the training, opportunities and lives of recruits Beccy, Danny and Stuart.

Produced by Generator and helmed by Max Fisher, the films were shot on location in Puerto Rico, at sea in the Caribbean, and on the Panama Canal. The videos mark a return to military projects after the director's work for the Royal Marines last year.

The videos mark a change in direction for the Navy and instead of being based on qualifications recruits can gain they focus on the personal stories and achievements of the sailors. Originally commissioned for the online part of WCRS' new campaign, some have been selected to run as TVC’s as the campaign progresses alongside the current TVC shot by Ed Morris for Rattling Stick'
