Although Go Where You Feel Most Alive starts in claustrophobic kitchens and firmly enclosed bedrooms, it doesn’t stay still for long. For those that seek the adventures to be had in the wild outdoors, it doesn’t get much wilder than the Faroe Islands. As surfers, free-jumpers, and swimmers explore the island, swift editing and scene changes create an energetic film that feels sweeping and cinematic.

With quick cuts in between scenes like a bathtub and the ocean, director Ian Isak creates an ever-expanding scope for this piece. There is no resting in comfort, as the film demands we look at the things that are difficult, challenging, and what makes those things ultimately more satisfying. Honeytrap Films produced the spot for Unridden, with the brief coming directly from the client.
