Debbie Ninnis joins MindsEye as executive producer
Debbie brings to MindsEye years of invaluable experience, having worked with many of the industry’s top directors.
London-based production company MindsEye are delighted to announce the appointment of Debbie Ninnis as Executive Producer.
Debbie started her career with a brief stint as a choreographer before becoming a production assistant on commercials. After working on a few feature films including Guy Ritchie’s Snatch, Debbie returned to the commercials arena where she helped establish Hungry Man’s UK office, producing for Bryan Buckley, Bennet Millen and Allen Coulter. She soon took over as Head of Production at Station Film where she housed Harold Einstein.
Since then she has served as a freelance producer and Executive Producer for many of London’s top production companies including Stink, Pulse, Biscuit, MJZ, PRETTYBIRD and Smuggler. Prior to joining MindsEye, Debbie spent the past two years working at Somesuch as a freelance producer and Executive Producer, during a time when the company saw unprecedented success, being named Production Company of the year by the British Arrows, Campaign, Ciclope and Ad Age. Whilst at Somesuch Debbie worked alongside talent such as Kim Gehrig, Daniel Wolfe, Nick Gordon and Raine Allen-Miller.
Debbie Ninnis, Executive Producer at MindsEye said: “After being freelance for a lot of my career, I decided that I wanted a new challenge; to develop and nurture directing talent and to help grow a production company. MindsEye feels like the perfect place for me to bring my experience and expertise and to be instrumental in the company’s growth.”
MindsEye is indeed a company with growth on its mind. Renowned for their comedic work and irreverent directing talent, they count Andrew Gaynord, Brad Lubin, Benjamin Green and Kate Herron amongst their pool of directors. The company’s expanded extensively over the last few years producing work that has been recognised at Cannes, YDAs, D&AD and The British Arrows, whilst they have also recently opened a Film and TV department headed up by Katie Mavroleon.
