Czar seems to be ruling shots’ webwaves today, here’s an immensely amusing spot for Dutch gin brand Jajem from director Aaron van Valen, through Czar Amsterdam

Levi Rijper, Czar’s head of creative content explained how she and the creative team – Topanga & Kapowski creatives Tim Arts and Stefan van den Boogaard – evolved the campaign. “At first we just wanted to make a film about the thing we’ve all done at some point in our lives – drunk a bit too much, woken up with a hangover and another surprise: an object obtained from a cafe/the streets/a friend's house, etc. The film turned into a campaign with a website where people can donate or claim their Drunk Trophies. We then got jenever brand Jajem involved as they feel partly responsible for the ‘problem’."

It's a fitting spot for this season of liver-shredding merriment – we particularly like the fact that even the music in the spot is drunk (hic!).
