Director Chris Strong has joined Dark Energy for representation.

Strong was a member of three-strong directing collective, Blac Ionica, which the trio decided to shut down. "We were ready to focus on our independent careers and I really liked Dark Energy’s output," said Strong. "It was a very natural and organic joining of minds – I did a project for Royal Mail through Dark Energy and then a Pringles campaign. Joining the roster felt like the logical next step."

"Chris’s ability to work across both live-action and animation, across comedy and more dramatic narrative-driven content is a great asset to our roster," said Dark Energy founder, Matt Brown. "We look forward to working together more."

Strong has worked on projects for global brands, such as PlayStation, McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Cadbury's, Mitsubishi and Citroen, and has worked with some of the top advertising agencies in the world.

Strong's most recent piece of work through Dark Energy was for a Pringles campaign through DigitasLBi, alongside animation company Cookie Studio.
