A man delivers a monologue about his favourite babysitter. 'I had a babysitter. I'll never forget her. She showed me the world in an entirely different way.' A flashback shows the babysitter thundering down the street with the baby in his pram, clutching him to her chest as she hurdles and using him as a baton in a relay race. After she left everything seemed slow and he needed to rediscover that feeling of speed.
