American cinematographer and director Lance Acord, 46, is co-founder of Park Pictures, which recently opened a branch in London. Acord began his career as an assistant to photographer and filmmaker Bruce Weber before breaking out on his own. His work includes award-winning spots for Nike (Before) and adidas (Impossible is Nothing: Laila Ali and The Long Run), as well as Volkswagen’s recent Super Bowl hit, The Force.
