Tonight the first round of celebrations will kick off as the Promo & Activation, PR and Direct Lions are presented at the Palais, while Ridley Scott and Droga5 take to the stage to talk shop.
- commercials director turned Hollywood legend Ridley Scott joins CAA Marketing on stage at 10:30 to discuss building content for brands in the Debussy Theatre.
- for those wanting tips from one of the best independent agencies in the business, Droga5 New York executive creative director Ted Royer will be giving out advice in a Master Class in the Young Lions Zone at 16:00 titled ‘Every thing you wanted to know about advertising but were afraid to ask’.
- this evening the Palais plays host to the first of four awards ceremonies taking place this week. The Promo & Activation, PR and Direct Lions will be presented at 19:30 in the Grand Auditorium.
- and for all you ardent footie fans, tonight Croatia take on Spain and Italy face the Republic of Ireland. Kick-off is at 20.45 CET with both games played simultaneously. To watch with a beer in hand, head on down to Morrison's Irish Pub, 10 Rue Teissere, 06400 Cannes.
