shots/Bang Bang APA Forum Closing Gala

The London commercials production industry is in Mumbai this week for the APA Mumbai London Advertising Forum (MLAF), which kicked off yesterday with an opening reception hosted by the British consulate.

The programme continues today with presentations from top Indian advertising agency figures,  and continues through to tomorrow when the event draws to a close with a cocktail reception hosted by shots and Bang Bang Films.

“We're a big supporter of the APA's focus on India and we have a close relationship with shots,” says Roopak Saluja, co-founder & managing director, Bang Bang Films and Jack in the Box Worldwide. “As India's international production company, it's apt that we host a group of producers and more from outside the country.”

The MLAF brings together top commercials production and visual effects companies from London with the top advertising agencies and production companies from Mumbai.

The forum presents an opportunity for the attendees from the UK to learn about advertising in India and, in particular, how it would like to utilise the choice of director and approach UK production offers and the barriers to working with UK production companies.

The closing gala event will be held at Busaba, Lower Parel Mathuradas Mill Compound, N.M. Joshi Marg, Lower Parel, Mumbai on Wednesday 9 November from 6pm onwards. Those that wish to attend should RSVP to attilio@shots.net or tanu@bangbang-films.com or call +91 98 209 02113.
