HOTSHOT UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL

06 January 2010

This week's Hotshot sees BBH and Pulse Films' directing duo D.A.R.Y.L. team up to create a cacophony of content for the launch of MySpace Music. It's a rocking rapper's delight as Florence + the Machine, 50 Cent and Nelly Furtado unpack their playlists and sing along to their favourite tracks.

Created to the mark the launch of MySpace Music as a separate entity from the social networking side of the perennially popular MySpace, the multi-faceted package of content invites visitors to poke and prod their way around the playlists of a host of popular artists, and witness them crooning along to a selection of memorable pop classics. Among the tracks on offer are 50 Cent's version of Michael Jackson's I Wanna Be Where You Are and Nelly Furtado churping along to Nirvana's Smells like Teen Spirit.

Over the coming weeks the campaign will gain added depth with the introduction of an interactive element that allows users to appear in videos with their favourite artists by uploading photos from Facebook or MySpace.

Check out the demo video below then head over to MySpace Music and get ready to sing along.
