Wed 5th / Day 1Woke up at 6am to hear that Barak Obama is President, thank goodness. Taxi arrives at 7am to take me to Gatwick, and we pick up Lee (client CD from National Geographic) on the way; I try to disguise how nervous I am about the flight. We meet up with the other guys at the airport and have some breakfast, then it's on board for what turns out to be a very mellow flight over to Las Vegas (any slight hint of turbulence makes me think about what the Zero G flight will be like). After a stroll down the Strip we all struggle to stay awake as jetlag kicks in, but we do mange a few beers and Mexican dinner. Asleep by 9pm.

Today is a quiet day in our schedule so we manage a little shopping, and then after lunch we met up with CJ from Zero G Films, whose company deal with shooting on the Zero G flight. We start to get the lowdown on the flight. I'm getting more anxious and feeling a little sick with a sore throat. I go to bed early after dinner at an Indian restaurant.
