OK so let's be honest, yes we're all desperate to get to Cannes to pick up our Lions or gaze jealously at those who have (obviously mistakenly) picked up our Lions; but what we really love is the "social networking".

You squeezed in a breakfast meeting at the Carlton, followed by lunch at the Colombe d'Or then 4pm cocktails on the beach - all strictly business - so of course what you need to do in the evening is party. As always the dilemma of which party to go to, or how many people can you physically meet in one day, is constantly playing on your mind. As the sun goes down the drinks begin to flow, before you know it Saturday has come and all you have to show the week are photos of people you don't remember meeting.



Of course the one party you shouldn't have missed is the shots/South Africa Xposed party, which took place at the Majestic Beach last Thursday. Firstly we'd like to say a massive thanks to our sponsors, South Africa Xposed, as without their huge South African presence it would not have been possible to dance the night away with sand between our toes. This dancing would not have occurred had it not been for the fantastic Goldfish, DJ and jazz musicians extraordinaire, who made the party swing until the powers that be told us to stop. Last but by no means least, thanks to all of you who came along and partied with us. As always there are many people who contact us saying they didn't get in, and all we can say is we'll be there again
